St. Casimir's Young Adults is the young adult group at St. Casimir's on Roncesvalles Avenue, run by the Oblate Fathers. You don't need to be a parishioner to come. The easiest way to start is to turn up one week.
We meet every Friday at 8 PM. Through the year there's also carolling at Christmas, the Polish Festival on Roncesvalles in September, the Extreme Way of the Cross in Lent, and the occasional trip, like Rome in 2025.

- Faith
- Mass and Adoration together, and honest conversations about what following Christ looks like on a normal weekday.
- Friendship
- Dinners and game nights, mostly. The friendships tend to outlast them.
- Service
- Pitching in at the parish and around the city when help is needed.

St. Eugene de Mazenod
St. Casimir's Young Adults is affiliated with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), a Catholic missionary congregation, and is part of the wider Oblate Youth network of parish young-adult and youth groups across the country.
The word “Oblate” comes from the Latin oblatus, meaning “to offer of oneself.” That's the idea we try to live by here: giving our time to the people around us.
That charism traces back to St. Eugene de Mazenod, who founded the Oblates in 1816 after giving up a life of comfort to serve the poor, spiritually and materially. His first years as a priest were spent in youth ministry, and that focus on young people has stayed part of the Oblate mission ever since.

God our Father, we thank you for calling us, through your Spirit,to live our life in the footsteps of Saint Eugene.Strengthen our desire to become more human,more Christian and to strive for sainthood.Enlighten us to understand better the Oblate charism.Grant us the love which St. Eugene had to the world,so that by deepening our faith and coming to know the Oblate spiritualitywe too may bring the Good News to the poor.Grant us also to be worthy sons and daughters of Mary, our Mother and model.May we follow her in our discipleship of Jesus, your Son,who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.Amen.
